Aaron Zulpo

Aaron Zulpo (b. 1985, Chicago, IL) received a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and is a cofounder of the residency The Guild of Adventure Painters. In 2024, the Hilbert Museum of Californian Art at Chapman University acquired two of Zulpo's paintings. In 2021, Zulpo curated an Armory Off-Site project in conjunction with The Guild of Adventure Painters. Solo exhibitions include Joshua Tree, Taymour Grahne (2023); Ski Vacation, Visions West Contemporary, Denver, Colorado (2019); Up and Up, 1969 Gallery, New York (2018). Notable group exhibitions include contemporary domesticity ii, Taymour Grahne, London, England (2024), Beach, Nino Mier Gallery, New York (2023), Room With A View, Hashimoto Contemporary, New York (2023); Leave A Light On, The Valley, Taos, New Mexico (2022), and I love to paint, curated by Kim Dorland, Patel, Toronto, Canada (2019). Zulpo was a fellow at the Shandaken Paint School (2020). He lives and works in Southern California.
